Diocesan Priest Accepted in GreenFaith Fellowship Program


Linda WatkinsThe Rev. Linda Watkins, rector, St. Mary’s Waynesboro has been accepted in the GreenFaith Fellowship Program for the class of 2013.

 

GreenFaith is an organization dedicated to training and supporting religious-environmental leadership. Among the programs it offers is a Fellowship Program to train lay and clergy as religious/environmental leadership. This is an 18-month program that includes monthly webinars as well as three retreats. Fellows are expected to plan and carry out a significant environmental project.  Mother Linda is being sponsored by the Diocese of Central Pennsylvania as well as by the Franciscan Action Network.

Remember in Your Prayers


The Rev. Deacon Priscilla Ginolfi, who underwent extensive knee surgery on July 17.

The Rev. Deacon Janice Fritz, who has recently received a diagnosis of a return of cancer, and will be starting treatment immediately.

Pam Ballinger, Diocesan office receptionist, who is back in hospital to do some rehab work.
