Diocesan Digest

Does your parish have FOMO? (Fear of Missing Out)

Email is a great way to communicate the "good news" to a large number of parishioners throughout the diocese. In order for the members of every parish to keep up with the latest news from the diocese, we are soliciting email addresses from those people who want to keep up with the latest diocesan news, stories and information.

A bulletin insert is available for your use. Please include it in your August and September church bulletins (either by copying and inserting or by copying and pasting into the bulletin). Parishioners who subscribe will receive the Diocesan Digest and the Bishop's Message. Email addresses will only be used by the diocese to distribute diocesan news.

Safe Church Training for All Diocesan Clergy

Safeguarding God's Children and Safeguarding God's People training will be held October 6, 2012. This training is mandated for all active clergy, not only to experience the information in the training resources, but also to participate in small group discussions. The higher purpose is for clergy to share expertise and wisdom as to the best ways to live out diocesan policy through leadership and programs. The training design in October will help all clergy to do this, learning from one another about safe practices in all congregational life. Clergy – please click here to register.
